This video is amazing. Didn't see any of the others, but this is really beautiful.
To the Showdown In Chinatown website designer: You really need to redesign the voting interface on this thing! Perhaps indicating how it even works? Clicking on what at what time will activate it, etc...
After clicking all around trying to figure it out with no luck, it unexpectedly collected my vote when I clicked on the middle star. So because the GUI is shitty on this thing, I gave this video 3/5 stars when I was trying to give it 5/5 stars.
Please fix this!

Tyson, unfortunately this is a third party plugin and not within our control to change how it works. But now that you are familiar with this common rating system, you can come back to the site and rate it what you meant to rate it. You can rate it as many times as you like... the only catch is that you can only rate it once a day.

Great work ʻAina... so glad to see this short rank in the top 3. Definitely deserve the recognition and its easy to see that it was probably very hard for the judges to decide in this competition. Look forward to seeing more work from you and your team. Mahalo!

Awesome concept for a film five stars many thumbs up.
I like the idea that the 'aina provides, this film really puts things into perspective about the whole corporate state paradigm that one must work in order to live, in such a scenario it is for sure that many things might not work such as the TV and electric lights if not solar powered but the essentials like food drink and shelter would still be there. There is a great book on this topic its called stone age economics, and this video pretty much sums it up, not much work is needed to obtain the things necessary for an enjoyable life, MOST of the work we do is funneled to benefit a few elite people who use that work for their own benefit. The book stone age economic shows how it would only take about 2.5 hours a day to provide for all the food shelter and clothing one needs to sustain a normal life. The whole idea that we need to work to pay for the land is bizarre. I think what is in order is a reawakening followed by a revolution, we can one day restore our rightful roll as stewards of the land instead of feudal credit debt serfs (not surf). In a world without taxes, without debt, we are left with our abilities, which puts everybody on a playing field that is more just "pono" more fair in relation to the actual efforts we put out equals the same level of enjoyment we receive. The concept that a banker a land owner or even some king some place deserves 70% of the fruits of our labor just for us to exist is insanity. GREAT FILM, i would only make minor adjustments such as show the guy pounding the poi "it doesn't take long Daniel Anthony pounds 100+ pounds a day, this guy need only pound maybe 1 maybe 2 pounds a day" also would be good to time laps the brewing of beer with grain hops sugar yeast inside an ipu and show the guy relaxing as it makes itself into a nice frothy aromatic brew. also would be nice to see implements being made in a casual way, the hale being repaired from the plants that surround the land around him. other than that i give this film 100 points out of 100
